In order to use custom themes you have to patch your system files.
To do that, download and install Universal Theme Patcher from this link:

Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

To install the :

Place the content of the “Theme” folder in C:WindowsResourcesThemes

Double-click on Dark Pearl VS.theme to apply the style.

I’ve included several system files, which you can, but you don’t need to change:

explorer.exe – for the start button
explorerframe.dll – for the Back-Forward buttons in Windows Explorer
